Buddy Club racing spec cam shafts are well-balanced cams that is proven to provide more effective power than regular camshafts. Every Buddy Club cam goes through strict production and inspection guidelines to ensure the highest quality cam makes it to your motor. Each Buddy Club cam is coated with manganese phosphate to protect the cam from damage if the cam shaft has not been lubricated properly. The coating prevents direct contact with other metal parts while also smoothing out cam operation. A "wavy groove" is also curved to the cam profile surface by oscillation during the cam grinding process. This helps oil to pool on the cam's surface to reduce friction loss and prevent locking. These new technology coupled with Buddy Club's cam making experience ensures that you get the best quality cams at a reasonable price. The Spec II cams are dubbed to be the most "streetable" cams you can get. More aggressive cams are available, but may require upgraded valve springs and retainers. Specs for Spec II cams are bellow:
