Most 240SX S13 owners have or will encounter a cracked coolant reservoir tank during ownership of vehicle due to age of the coolant tank.  New, OEM coolant tanks can be costly.  Circuit Sport introduces a polished aluminum coolant reserve tank for S13 vehicles.  This tank will last years and improve the looks in your engine bay. 

This coolant reserve tank is designed to be a direct drop-in replacement of the OEM unit.  Fits S13 chassis only.

* 8mm-5/16 upper hose barb size *

 

Please READ carefully:

Due to the nature of this aftermarket Reservoir Tank, the end user must take precautions to prevent leaks. Push in the level indicator tube into the blue fitting, then pull the blue fitting away from the main black fitting. Repeat the same for the top or bottom.

  I am very impressed with the build quality of this unit--especially the fill cap. It looks great in place of that 20 year-old worn out, cracked reservoir. The installation went pretty smooth, and I only had to modify the fender well slightly where the coolant hose connects. It just took a few minutes with a hammer and punch to make a little room for the hose and clamp to fit on the nipple. The tab bolt holes don't match up perfectly but it's not a problem because they bend to a perfect fit while you tighten it down. Some people will just drill new holes and that is shown in a youtube video that reviewed this unit. Overall I'm very happy with this unit and I highly recommend it.

  I must say, I was doubtful about how high quality the welds would be on this piece. When I got it in the mail, I was amazed when I saw how smooth and even ALL of the welds were. This thing will never spring a leak. However, the bottom fitting where you put in the overflow line from the radiator could be just a few mm thicker to allow our old and heat soaked lines to fit a little tighter. This is easily remedied with a small clamp, which should be used in the first place. I'm very impressed with this product, and I would definitely buy it again. Thank you FrSport, and CircuitSports.

  Very nice piece, good fit and finish and only $10 bucks more than a new ugly OEM plastic tank. I'd buy it again.

Another simple drop-in mod that takes minutes to complete... And it looks great over the plastic stock reservoir!
