Nismo Thermostats open at 62 Degrees Celcius while stock themostats open at 76.5 Degrees Celcius. This will allow your radiator to cool your engine before the temperature gets too high. Cooling running temperature will yield higher power and response. This will also extend engine life. This thermostat is great for turboed engines due to the amount of heat created by the turbos. This will extend your engine life and yield better reliability.

  R/R my T-stat for my SR20. lower the temp in my motor. works great. highly recommend for SR20 users.

  At a cheaper price than SARD and all them other brands, why not go for top of the line for nissans right? This thermostat even opens at a colder temperature than the more expensive one. 62 degrees C compared to 68, or 74 (stock) sounds damn good to me. All the longer my motor will live now that my heat soaked sr20 can get some coolant that much sooner. I wish they would have put a little tiny bottle of RTV high temp gasket maker in there for us SR20 users, because we cant just go to autozone and buy a gasket, but hey, ill live. My first nismo part...interesting. Thank you FRSport.
