DIF S13 To S14 Rear Subframe Conversion Solid Aluminum Bushings

 

Some of the biggest benefits of converting your S13 subframe into a S14 one are the improvements in the anti-squat geometry and the rear bump steer curves.

 

Anti squat is a term used with rear wheel drive cars and is the amount of compression that is applied to the driving wheels under acceleration. Bump steer is the term for the tendency of the wheel of a car to steer as it moves upwards. The rear suspension is usually set up to minimize bump steer where possible. Excessive bump steer increases tire wear and makes the vehicle more difficult to handle on rough roads. Both of these suspension geometries benefit with the conversion from an S13 rear subframe to a S14 one.
