Tomei Solid Pivots / Lifters:
- When aiming at higher RPM ranges and for higher horsepower output from engine modifications, it is important to improve the reliability of head system parts and to make valve drive train set correctly for the suited cam profile. So it is necessary to eliminate the use of the hydraulic lash adjusters. Tomei have adopted the solid pivot system to enable adequate cam clearance adjustments while keeping total height of pivot of each cylinder fixed.
Tomei Test Shims:
- You can use these to measure rocker and cam clearance. By using this kit, you can find out if you need bigger or smaller sizes for the shims and guides. Individual sizes are also available on our website.
Note: This kit includes the solid pivots, test shims, and test guides for a convenient package.
