Circuit Sports Universal Oil Cooler Kit
Circuit Sports OCK-EU19RB45-GD Universal Oil Cooler Kit
This Circuit Sports oil cooler cools the oil or fluid in the transmission and engine of your vehicle more efficiently. In an air-cooled oil cooler, metal fins are placed around the oil-carrying tube. The fins catch air, which carries the heat away. This particular unit is a 19 row oil cooler that enhances the cooling of your engine oil and helps it maintain its optimum operating temperature. Includes both M20 X 1.5 and 3/4 - 16 UNF threads universal for most sports compact.
*Certain modifications might be necessary when instaling this universal cooler.

First up: some clarification that will likely help you out.. See that sandwich adapter in the picture? The nice looking one? Doesn't come in the kit. See those metal, gold even, mounts? Those don't come in the kit either. With that out of the way, I will say that the cooler itself is nice. It is big. There likely aren't many 19 row oil coolers out there because of the sheer size. For a good long while I was at a loss as to where to install this. Finally I managed to fit it in front of the radiator going up/down. Since no mounts of any kind come with the kit, I went to Lowes and bought a piece of 1 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick aluminium. I wanted the mounts to be sturdy, but in hindsight, 1/4 inch was complete overkill. I had to cut the middle brace that goes between the upper rad support and where the crash bumper used to be. I didn't remove it, but I did cut a piece out about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long just so I could make a mount easier. The cooler is in there solid now. The other review blasts the length of the hoses. Are they a bit on the short side? Probably. I have no problem with where I mounted mine. Where he/she was trying to mount theirs and on what car, who knows? I installed mine on a 95 nissan 240sx with a redtop s13.

Bought this kit to try and save money in piecing together my own AN lines and cooler...unfortunately the kit was poorly planned out and the lines are too short. I cannot imagine the lines would be long enough on any application. Looks like I will be making my own lines anyway...Poor Design!
